NEW** Volunteer credit can be paid 2 ways:

Fulfill 6 hours of volunteer time (please provide a post dated cheque for June 1, 2027 to your instructor on the 1st day of classes. This is only cashed if you do not fulfill your 6 hours. Please refer to our Zirka handbook to see all the ways you can fulfill your hours)

Pay $200 in lieu of volunteering - will not be required to volunteer (except Zirka comp)

Please be aware that our Zirka home competition held Apr 30, May 1 & 2, 2027 does not count towards either option and every family will be scheduled to volunteer that weekend. It will be your responsibility to find a replacement for you shift if you are unable to attend your provided shift.

Dancers have 3 classes to receive a full refund. After the 3 classes you will only receive a refund for the second session (Feb-May), if paid up front. If you have not paid the second session, no payment would be required.

1 - After you have submitted your registration, please read/save the Zirka Handbook for important dates and information for the season. You will also see that Zirka has a Code of Conduct, please read this to your dancer before classes begin.

2 - A TeamLinkt email will be sent after registration, please ensure to set this up. This is how Zirka primarily communicates.

I acknowledge that by signing this waiver, I release the dance instructors, Board Members and all concerned with Zirka from any and all accidents or injuries which may be incurred by my son/daughter (or self, in the case of adult dancer) while participating in all performances, practices and activities associated with Zirka Ukrainian Dance Ensemble. I authorize Zirka Ukrainian Dance Ensemble and/or anyone acting on their behalf to acquire necessary medical aid that may be required as a result of any accident or injury which may be sustained by my child.

I agree to abide to all recommendations with regard to equipment and instructions as directed by the dance instructors and Zirka Ukrainian Dance Ensemble.

I hereby give Zirka Ukrainian Dance Ensemble permission to use photographs that may include my child, for promotional purposes by media and Zirka in publications, websites, and social media. I understand that my child (or self, in the case of adult dancer) will not receive compensation for the use of the photo in any form.
